A Stunning Location

The majestic Donnington Grove sits amongst 500 acres of rolling parkland in the beautiful Berkshire countryside. Built in 1763 the gothic design is as impressive as it is steeped in history. We are also home to a challenging championship golf course through which the River Lambourn meanders. Designed by legend of the Ryder Cup, Dave Thomas in 1993, the golf course welcomes thousands of golfing enthusiasts – amateur and professional – year on year. From Beau’s Bar and Restaurant in Newbury, diners can admire the landscape over a pot of tea or a glass of something stronger the large and plentiful picture windows. On one of those magical British Summer’s days, our generous patio area can be enjoyed alongside the delicacies from Beau’s.
